Julie and I are big Rosé fans, so we don’t really need to be convinced. However, when Kitchen in the Market teamed up with Chuck Kanski (of Solo Vino) the Twin Cities evangelist for Rosé, we couldn’t resist! What followed was a night full of laughter, fun, Rosé and tasty food pairings. Here’s a sample of our evening. (click on any photo)
When you arrive at Kitchen in the Market (KITM), you are handed their signature sparkling cocktail.

Our Rosé lineup for the evening
Zestos Rosé is 100% Grenache.
Picnic ham and chickpea potato salad were perfect for the Rosé.
Look carefully for the pickled green bean: the hit of the pairing.
Never a dull moment with Chuck in charge.
Beautiful bite to pair with a delicate Provençal Rosé
Crispy fingerling potatoes, kale salad, chevre, morel mushroom, preserved lemon and a touch of saffron. Wow!
Molly being serious with typical Chuck…
Spicy flatiron steak bite with a rich Saignée Rosé
Chateau Miraval is a serious Provençal Rosé recently associated with Brad and Angalina.
Cheese and charcuterie, a typical pairing. Still, very nice.
So nice! The celebrities didn’t ruin the wine!
