Are you a CSA (community supported agriculture) member? We’re trying our first CSA cropshare this summer, so we’ll have lots of opportunities to try pairing wines with a wider variety of vegetables than usual.
Bossy Acres
Bossy Acres is the name of the farm; Karla and Elizabeth together are the Bossy Chicks (aka the farmers). We had the opportunity to get to know them today at our first meet-up of the season.

Our first meet-up was information packed, but fun!

We learned the ins and outs of the all important produce box

A sample of pea shoots and micro-greens

Plants for the kids!

Karla and Elizabeth are the Bossy Chicks (Farmers) at Bossy Acres!
Love the bossy chicks and their micro greens look amazing too.
We’re very impressed with the Bossy Chicks, and we can’t wait for our first CSA box to arrive!
This looks very tempting! We’ve always talked about trying something like this. Perhaps we should just dive in.
I’ll have to get back to you in August when we’re swimming in kale!
Actually, our farmers are very sensitive to growing what their members will eat and they don’t want us to be stuck with a bunch of waste.
