A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Millesima-USA , a wine importer in New York, and invited to enter blog posts into their second annual blog awards competition.

My entry:

5 Tips For Your First Visit to Barolo (Italy!)

was selected as one of 3 finalists in the Wine Travel Category!  Here are the entries from other two finalists.  You should take a look, they offer some great wine travel ideas:
