Jermaine Stone is Wine and Hip Hop
As a kid in the Bronx, Jermaine Stone aspired to a career in hip hop. As he grew up, he found his place in the wine business, though he never lost his love for hip hop. In 2017 he started a podcast and youtube channel on his dual passions of Wine and Hip Hop. Today, he has grown his brand to include a Tastemade show, Street Somm, a daytime Emmy nomination and a James Beard nomination. He has always talked about linkages between wine and hip hop. In his newest endeavor, he has written and performed a book and soundtrack where he has put the wine into his own hip hop tracks!

“Wine Barz Vol. 1 for The Love”
Jermaine takes his love for wine and hip hop to the next level by going deep into his personal experience with both. This unique book offers something for wine lovers interested in hip hop and vice versa. The text in the book is tied to 5 tracks performed by Stone and produced by the Heatmakerz. The tracks are accessed via a QR code exclusively for purchasers of the book. It’s easy to get your copy, complete with the book and access to the tracks. The book is available here on Amazon.

Wine and Hip Hop at Château du Clos de Vougeot 2024
Wine and Hip Hop events started a couple years ago in Burgundy, with the 2nd annual Wine and Hop at Château du Clos de Vougeot in October 2024 serving as a launch point for Wine Barz vol. 1. Since then, Jermaine has organized events in a variety of locations in the US and most recently, Pop et Hip Hop in Champagne! Curious about other events? Disclosure: none required. I attended the event and purchased my book at retail. Jermaine was kind enough to grant an interview. All opinions expressed are my own.
